Product use:
It is used to synthesize the main monomer of polyisobutylene rubber, butyl rubber and isoprene. It is also used to synthesize high-grade lubricants, gasoline additives, catalysts for polymerization of butadiene rubber, polymerization inhibitors and pesticides. An important antioxidant and stabilizer in the synthetic plastic industry.
